 Well, this is certainly different.  No, not the writing but a dedicated blog website for me.  

I just wanted a simple space to write out my thoughts, observations and random musings that cross my mind.  Also, to share everyone's favorite: Adventures in Online Dating.

I had been using social media "blog-like" functions for a while.  The old MySpace pages with a thought function, I forget what they called it.  Then as I transitioned away from MySpace, Facebook had a "Notes" section that I used often but they pulled support from that last month and it's not directly available through the app.  Finding it on the desktop page is a chore.  So I copied all the stories I shared through that feature and decided I needed something more permanent, long-term.  A real blog.  So that's what brings me here.  I wasn't sure this is something I wanted to pay for so for now, we'll see how long I continue to use this before moving onto a different platform.  I don't need anything fancy, no bells or whistles, no specialized backgrounds.  I just wanted somewhere to write, get things off my chest, clear my mind and every other cliche I could think of.  Which brings me here.  And the price is right.  Come on down!

I think for starters, I'm going to add some of everyone's favorite Adventures in Online Dating in the coming days.  Those are always good for a laugh at just how ridiculous my dating life has been.
